The Managing Director (MD) of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC, Alhaji Alhassan Yakubu-Tali, has reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to providing exceptional services, innovative solutions and strong partnerships to empower customers and drive growth for both the bank and the nation.
Speaking at the 2024 Customer Service Week themed ‘Above & Beyond’ in Tamale, Alhaji Yakubu-Tali emphasised the importance of delivering excellence in banking services. “Banking is not just about numbers, transactions and profits; it is also about delighting the customer throughout their journey,” he stated.
The event, which brought together customers from the five regions of the north, aimed to celebrate customer loyalty and highlight the pivotal role of customer service in the banking sector. The MD acknowledged the trust and enduring partnerships that have supported ADB’s growth over the years. He assured customers that the bank remains committed to developing strategies to ensure their welfare while enhancing service quality.
He noted that ADB adheres strictly to the Consumer Recourse Mechanism guidelines set by the Bank of Ghana (BoG). These guidelines ensure efficient complaint handling and redress processes, fostering trust and confidence in the bank. “Adhering to these guidelines reinforces our commitment to accountability, transparency and customer satisfaction,” he added.
The MD further emphasised that ADB is dedicated to protecting customer investments and building stronger banker-customer relationships to achieve greater milestones.
Zonal Director of ADB, Mr. Michael Asigre, encouraged customers to become ambassadors of the bank by promoting its excellent services. He also highlighted ADB’s readiness to support the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the local economy.
The Head of Marketing and Communication at ADB PLC., Mr. Mohammed Ali, revealed that the bank has introduced various packages to meet the diverse needs of customers, ranging from small-scale entrepreneurs to large businesses.
One of ADB’s longest-serving customers in the Northern Region, Yunusah Sanuu of Hanponi Enterprise, praised the bank for its over 49 years of service, which has helped expand his business and create employment opportunities for the youth. Other customers at the event also expressed their gratitude to ADB for its quality services and support in fostering the growth of local businesses.
