David Ocloo, assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, has reached out to the club’s supporters, urging them to maintain their unwavering support during a challenging period for the team.
Despite a recent string of disappointing results, Ocloo remains confident that Kotoko will soon return to winning ways.
The Porcupine Warriors have endured a difficult spell, failing to secure a single victory in their last five matches, with four losses and one draw. This slump in form has significantly impacted their aspirations of clinching the Ghana Premier League title this season.
Following the team’s goalless draw with Bechem United on Saturday, Coach Ocloo acknowledged the frustration felt by the supporters and assured them that the team is working diligently to reverse their fortunes.

“This particular match we did not create enough chances, but the most important thing is we got a point here. We feel very bad for the supporters because we have starved them for so long, but they should bear with us. We are still working hard, and very soon we will turn things around,” stated Coach Ocloo.
The recent struggles have intensified pressure on head coach Prosper Ogum, who has received backing from the management to navigate through this rough patch. Despite facing criticism, Ogum’s previous success in leading Kotoko to Ghana Premier League glory in the 2021/22 season offers hope for a turnaround.
Looking ahead, Asante Kotoko will aim to bounce back to victory in their upcoming fixture against Nsoatreman FC. Currently positioned eighth in the league standings after 24 matches, the team remains determined to regain momentum and return to winning form.
