The Ministry of the Interior has ordered the temporary closure of all land borders across Ghana to safeguard the integrity of the December 7, 2024, General Election.
The directive, effective from today, December 6, 2024, will remain in place until 1800 hours on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
A statement signed by Mr. Henry Quartey, Minister for the Interior, urged all citizens and travelers to cooperate with the State Security Agencies enforcing the directive.
