Commuters on Manso roads cry over rampant armed robbery attacks

Commuters on Manso roads are crying over high rise of armed robbery attacks on the Awnia Nkwanta Manso road in the Ashanti region.

According to them, nefarious activities by armed robbers are getting out of hands saying they are being attacked every one to two weeks.

Speaking to Abusua Dawuro’s Maame Afia Nyarko they explained that they are sometimes attacked by the drivers robbers thrice in a day.

They are appealing to the government to come to their aid by constructing the deplorable roads.

Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive for Amansie West, Hon. William Asante Bediako has admitted that the security situation is a source of worry in recent times saying 5 robbery cases have been reported since April this year.

He said the Assembly and DISEC are working around the clock to revive the community volunteer groups calling for establishment of police posts and police stations at vantage points in the district.
