Pupils in the Breman Jamera Methodist Kindergarten school in the Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region are yet to return to school after the collapse of the school building a week ago which killed about six of the pupils.
According to school authorities, they do not want such an unfortunate incident to repeat itself and that they are making sure they get a convenient place to house the kids in the interim awaiting the completion of the permanent classroom block.
The chief of the town in an interview with Ultimate news’ Central regional correspondent Kwaku Baah-Acheamfour explained that a temporary structure has been identified for the Kindergarten pupils but they are yet to report to the school.
The Parliamentary committee is yet to visit the community to ascertain the cause and extent of damage.
The six pupils who lost their lives were buried last Thursday.
