Esso lauded the management of the club for their decision to play their home matches at the Cape Coast Stadium in the upcoming season.
Speaking to the media after Hearts’ 0-1 defeat to Elmina Sharks in a friendly, the former Ebusua Dwarfs playmaker said he was happy with the choice of the stadium as he is already familiar with the environment.
“Choosing Cape Coast as our home grounds will help me as an individual. I have played here and I know this stadium very well. It will be useful to us,” he said.
Joseph Esso also dispelled fears of not excelling at Hearts of Oak.
“Hearts of Oak is a big club but I’m not scared because it’s normal to me as a footballer. With help from other colleagues, we can raise the image of the team” he added.
