Offinso Kayera Youth Group tells Bryan Acheampong to ‘Drop MP and come home as Chief’

The youth of Offinso Kayera in the Ashanti Region are calling on the Minister for Food & Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong to serve ‘home’ as their chief following the death of Karikari Wiafi-Ababio.

At a press conference, the group believed Dr Bryan Acheampong, a royal from the Ayensua Kokoo Asona Abusua royal gate, will champion development.

They also state that the Member of Parliament of Abetifi constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana has demonstrated his capacity to develop the area hence their call on him to accept the chieftaicny posotion.

“Dr Acheampong is our royal, whose grandparents migrated to Kwahu.

“We believe that, based on what we have seen him do elsewhere, if we all rally behind him, he will help us develop,” Nana Owusu Ansah, a youth leader, expressed.
