Black Stars assistant coach Desmond Offei has completed the UEFA Pro License course in Belgium, qualifying him to coach at the highest professional level.
The certification marks a major step in Offei’s coaching career and allows him to manage clubs and national teams globally.
Offei has previously worked with Ghana’s U-20 national team, where he guided the side to a gold medal in men’s football at the 13th African Games in 2024. He also led the team to the quarterfinals of the 2024 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
His performances at youth level earned him a place on the Black Stars technical team under head coach Otto Addo. He played a key role in Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Offei also serves as head coach of the national U-23 team, the Black Meteors, who are currently preparing for qualification to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
