The committee’s mandate was to scrutinize viable candidates to replace Chris Hughton, who was sacked following Ghana’s embarrassing exit from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The candidates include individuals who applied for the job and those who did not but are deemed suitable coaches for consideration, according to the football governing body.
According to the GFA, the committee’s report and recommendations have been received by the president of the organization, Kurt Okraku, and will now be reviewed by the Executive Council for further action.
As per the communique from the GFA, once a decision is reached on whom to appoint as the next Black Stars coach, engagement with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and other key stakeholders will be pursued for their support.
