The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s management of the nation’s affairs as a failure.
The party believes that the NPP’s “temple built on wicked lies will surely come crumbling in the fullest time.”
According to the party, close to two years after being voted into power, the government, led by President Akufo-Addo, has failed to deliver to Ghanaians the transformation it promised while in opposition. The party listed a number of projects including the “one district, one factory” and “one village, one dam” as part of the failed promises of the NPP.
Speaking at their maiden edition of the “Moment of Truth” series, the National Communications Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi said the NPP was running a government based on deceit.
But he assured that the NDC will continue to hold the government in check.
“The NPP has and will always have a DNA of lies, double talk and hypocrisy. However, no pillar built on lies can stand the test of the moment of truth. We shall continue to expose the abysmal performance of this impotent inert, nepotistic and dishonest government.”
Sammy Gyamfi also reiterated the criticism of the size of the Akufo-Addo administration.
“Don’t you agree that the NPP government has delivered on higher productivity by putting seven ministers of the Transport sector; a duty that was hitherto managed by just two ministers of state under the erstwhile Mahama administration,” he said sarcastically.
