Coach Ibrahim Tanko has made a heartfelt plea to Medeama fans, calling on them to come out in their numbers and support the team in their upcoming clash against Berekum Chelsea.
Tanko shared his worry about the way the team has been discussed in the media, noting that the negativity has been unfair, especially considering Medeama’s strong position in the league.
"Honestly, it's difficult for me to say something because and the radio station that's supposed to call the players are not speaking good about the team even though we are first. So I hope that the supporters will come," he told Medeama TV.
Despite the commentary around them, Medeama currently sits top of the league table with 23 points after 12 games, proof of their solid work this season.
Sunday’s match at the TnA Stadium is a big one, and Tanko hopes the fans' presence will lift the players as they push to maintain their lead.
