President John Dramani Mahama has been provoked to rant on social media, warning governing NPP members working under the guise of National Security operatives to stay away from members of the NDC.
NDC national organizer, Kofi Adams was on Wednesday snatched of 5 cars in his custody by persons who identified themselves as national security operatives.
Mr Adams who was out of the country when the incident occurred said that caretaker at his house said the cars were impounded even after it was established their belonged to him legally.
President Mahama who earlier this year was disturbed about pocket of violence Thursday morning meted out to NDC members blurted out his anger on Facebook, condemning Kofi Adams’ predicament.
“The unprovoked attacks on NDC functionaries and supporters are needless and must end,” he said
“Yesterday the National Organiser of the NDC’s residence was invaded by security men from the seat of Government, the Flagstaff House in his absence, in search of vehicles when they knew very well they were on the wrong path.
“This must end,” the former president wrote.
