Ghanaian FIFA referee Juliet Appiah will officiate the upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone.
The much-anticipated clash has been scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Stade Charles Konan Banny.
Appiah will be assisted by an experienced all-female officiating team, with compatriots Mary Tei and Esuman Darko Doris serving as assistant referees. Rita Nkansah-Boateng has been designated as the fourth official.
Togolese Ayawa Mana Mawuofemo will serve as Match Commissioner while Nigeria’s Faith Uwugiarem Irabor takes up the role of Referee Assessor.
The fixture will be played in Yamoussoukro, setting the stage for a high-stakes encounter as both nations vie for progression in the global showpiece qualifiers.
Appiah, one of Ghana’s trusted female officials, will be expected to help ensure that controversies do not overshadow the match.
