Black Princesses coach, Yusif Basigi, has named his final 23-players for the first leg of the final round qualifier in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup against Senegal.
Maafia Nyame, Persis Martha Oteng, Salamatu Abdulai and Faiza Seidu will travel with the team for the first time after impressing the coach in training.
The Black Princesses will look to book a ticket to a seventh consecutive appearance at the Biennial tournament in Columbia later this year. The first leg is scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Thies Stade Lat Dior in Senegal.
Players selected includes Comfort Yeboah, Anoma Abena Opoku, Abiba Issah, Hannah Nyame, Sarah Kulible, Fatimata Fuseini and Faiza Abdul Rashid.
Other are Wasiima Mohammed, Success Ameyaa, Beline Nyarkoh, Tracey Twum, Helen Alormenu, Afia Amenyaku and Debora Brown.
The rest are Maafia Nyame, Abigail Sakyiwaa, Mary Amponsah, Persis Martha Oteng, Salamatu Abdulai, Faiza Seidu, Comfort Owusu, Jacqueline Amponsah and Jennifer Owusu. –Ghanafa.org
