Bechem United coach Kobina Amissah has expressed optimism that his side will score against goalkeeper Benjamin Asare.
The Hunters will be hosted by Hearts of Oak in the Matchday 21 games at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday, February 1.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Amissah praised Benjamin Asare, describing him as a very good shot-stopper who deserves all the praise.
However, he noted that Asare has conceded goals in the league, suggesting that his side could also find opportunities to score.
“To be honest, Benjamin Asare is a very good goalkeeper who deserves all the praise. However, he has conceded some goals in the league, which shows it’s possible for us at Bechem United to score against him as well. That said, he is very strong and experienced in goal, and it would take a younger player with a mature mindset to beat him,” Amissah told Akoma FM.
The veteran gaffer also added that his players are determined and ready for the challenge.
“While we respect Hearts of Oak, my players are very determined. Just as Hearts were able to pick a point in Bechem, we also aim to secure at least a point from the match at the University of Ghana Stadium,” he explained.
Kick off for the game is scheduled at 15:00 GMT.
