Ghana Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club have confirmed the signing of striker Abdul Rahaman Mohammed.
In an official club announcement on Wednesday, January 28, the Tarkwa-based club said the attacker has been recruited on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
“Medeama Sporting Club have completed the signing of striker Abdul Rahaman Mohammed on a two-and-a-half-year contract as part of efforts to further reinforce the squad for the ongoing Ghana Premier League title push,” the club said on its website.
Medeama SC added, “The forward joins the Mauve and Yellows from Tra United SC of Tanzania, bringing with him valuable experience and proven quality at the highest level. Abdul Rahaman is no stranger to Ghanaian football, having previously featured for Nsoatreman FC, where he played a key role in their historic MTN FA Cup triumph in 2024.”
The signing of Abdul Rahaman Mohammed underlines the club’s ambition to add depth, competition, and cutting edge to the attacking department as the club intensifies its pursuit of domestic silverware this season.
The Yellow and Mauves currently sit top of the Ghana Premier League standings after Week 20 and are favourites to clinch the title at the end of the season.
