Ghana's Black Starlets will learn their group stage opponents for the upcoming U17 Africa Cup of Nations when the draw is held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Cairo.
The event is scheduled to take place at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football at 16:00 GMT.
The tournament, which serves as a pathway to the FIFA U-17 World Cup, will see Ghana return to the continental stage after an eight-year absence.
The Black Starlets secured their place through the WAFU B tournament last year and will be aiming to make a strong impression in Morocco, where the competition will be held.
Ghana's U17 team has a rich history in the tournament, having won the title on two occasions. The current squad, under the guidance of head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, has been in camp since the start of the year, intensifying preparations.
The draw will determine Ghana's path in the group stage, with the top teams advancing to the knockout rounds. The Black Starlets will be hoping for a favourable draw as they seek to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup later this year.
