Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League outfit Swedru All Blacks have taken a bold step in preparation for the 2025-26 season with the appointment of Egyptian tactician Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi as head coach.The 39-year-old gaffer, who was unveiled on Wednesday morning, has signed a two-year contract with the Central Region-based side.He replaces coach Prince George Koffie, the man who masterminded their historic promotion back to the top flight after over a decade in Division One.Fathi arrives in Ghana with an impressive resume. He has held various assistant coaching roles in the Egyptian Premier League, including stints at Ismaily SC and El Gouna, and has also worked with El Dakhleya, Egypt National Bank SC, and Ghazl El Mahalla.Beyond the dugout, he has served as a performance manager for Modern Future FC and Eastern Company, highlighting his analytical approach to the game.Joining him is video analyst Mohammed Adily, who will bolster the clubs scouting and tactical preparation as they aim to survive and thrive in the elite league.All Blacks last featured in the Ghana Premier League during the 2008-09 season, and their return marks a significant milestone.With Fathi at the helm, the club will be hoping for a strong showing among Ghanas best.Official statement below:
