The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged the youth of Ghana to make it a point to vote in the December 7 elections.
According to him, the election is an opportunity to decide on what their future would look like.
Speaking at a meeting with a section of Ghanaian youth at the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra, on November 3, Dr Bawumia advised the youth not to entertain any idea about not voting in the December 7 election due to the prevailing economic challenges.
“December is about you. December is about your future. Make an informed choice between the one who has been rejected in the past and myself. Don’t bring back the one who was discarded in the past,” he urged.
He assured them that, ” your concerns are my priority, I mean it from my heart. I will ask for your ideas in crafting public policies.”
According to him, if elected as President on December 7, he would introduce ” bold business-friendly policies.”
“I will introduce initiatives that will create a large pool of jobs that the youth desire and deserve,” he assured.
The Vice President further assured that he will “protect the public purse if given the opportunity to serve Ghana as President from January 7, 2025.”
