Intoxicated power drunk dictator Nana Addo needs anger management class – Sam George

Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency Samuel Nartey George has recommended anger management classes for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his rant against opponents of the United States of America – Ghana Defence Cooperation Agreement.

The deal which accords American soldiers some exclusive advantages and judicial immunities has been described by the opposition and some civil society bodies as a sale of Ghana’s sovereignty.

In his first public remarks about the thorny agreement, the president indicated that persons leading media and social campaigns against the cooperation agreement were unpatriotic hypocrites of some political front lines promoting anti-American sentiments.

Speaking in a pre-recorded video circulated to media houses, the president indicated that he operated within the spirit of open and transparent governance in his undertaking of the deal.

But the Ningo Prampram legislator who first spoke on the issue in the media feels President Akufo-Addo demonstrated insolence and intolerance to dissenting views.

Sam George told host Nana Aba Anamoah on GHONE’s State of Affairs, “He came across as a very angry man who feels that because he is President of a country, there can be no dissenting views and that is a prime candidate for anger management classes. Watching the president, he fits the profile of an intoxicated power drunk dictator”

“Let’s even assume for the purpose of this discussion that the opposition was wrong in assuming that our sovereignty had been sold. As father for the nation, his best response was to come and insult us and come and call us reckless self-seekers and cynical manipulators?” he questioned in anger.
