Nana Addo Only Good At Reading Scripted Speeches – Sam George

The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency Sam George has described the one year governance of the Akufo-Addo’s government as full of sound bites.

According to him, the President is only good at reading scripted speeches which is hollow on substance.

He said instead of the President changing the living standards of the populace, he goes about giving the media sound bites.

Mr George charged the President to work hard to improve the livelihoods of Ghanaians.

The MP wondered why the President keeps defending his appointees who are perceived to be corrupt.

‘He (President) is excellent and fantastic with scripted speeches, he gives you the right insert for your news, the right sound bite but on substance, it is hollow. He is running sound bite government.

‘There are a lot of sound bites in the one year governance. Our President has become a Chief clearing agent at the Flagstaff house. He always clears his appointees who are alleged to be corrupt,’ he told Francis Abban on Morning Starr.

Some political parties have criticised the Akufo-Addo’s government for failing Ghanaians.
