The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has launched the 1 district 1 warehouse component of the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) by cutting the sod for the construction of a 1000 metric tonnes capacity warehouse at Ejura in the Ashanti Region.
The warehouse according to the President will not only minimize post harvest losses but also boost efforts in ensuring food security.
Warehouses are expected to be built in all 216 districts nationwide as part of IPEP.
