The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bulk Oil Distribution Companies (BDCs), Mr Senyo Hosi has filed a lawsuit against the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Agyapong and two others for defamation.
The two others include: Kencity Media Limited owned by the MP, and the Deputy Executive Secretary of Microfinance and Small Scale Loans Center (MASLOC) Afia Akoto.
The statement of claim states that the defamatory statements have gravely injured Mr Hosi’s reputation.
The outspoken lawmaker had alleged that Mr Hosi attempted to bribe the Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) Company, Mr Alfred Obeng Boateng with $1million in order to buy some contaminated fuel which was meant to be sold to Movenpiina Company Limited.
Mr Hosi described the allegation unfortunate and has filed a suit against the legislator.
