The Lebanese Marwako fast food Supervisor Jihad Chaaban who dipped the face of a Ghanaian worker in blended hot pepper has pleaded not guilty to the offence.
The assailant who have apologised to the victim was charged with three counts of offence including causing harm, assault and offensive conduct which led to the breaching of the peace in a public place.
His lawyers are asking for a bail for him.
The supervisor over the weekend smeared pepper in the face of Evelyn Boakye for delaying with her responsibilities.
There has been public outcry over the issue where some people have signed an online petition to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to ensure that justice prevails.
Jihad is the brother in-law of the owner of Marwako fast food.
