The six victims of the school building collapse in Breman Jamera in the Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region have been laid to rest.
The solemn ceremony took place on Thursday in the town which was enveloped in grief following the demise of the children in such unfortunate manner.
Four of the deceased who are kindergarten kids were buried together in one grave while two others who hailed from a Moslem family were buried separately in accordance with Islamic dictates.
Government through the of Education Minister Dr Mattew Opoku Prempeh paid the medical, and burial cost of the victims.
Residents were thrown into a state of shock and mourning Tuesday morning after the Jamera Methodist KG school building collapsed on the kids, killing 5 instantly and one other later.
Some others who sustained various degrees of injuries were hospitalized.
Eyewitnesses say the building had developed visible cracks which questioned the structural integrity of the facility.
