Former President John Mahama has expressed shock at the news of the passing of Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong aka KABA, a political show host at Accra-based Asempa FM.
He hosted the station's afternoon political show called 'Ekosi Sen' on Weekdays.

He died Saturday morning after he was rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
Sources say he died as a result of high sugar level.
Commenting on his death, the ex-President said: "A sad day for us all. Received the shocking news of the passing of KABA.
"My condolences to the family, MBG and the media fraternity."
KABA joined The Multimedia Group in August 2009 as a broadcast journalist. He was then the regular host of news bulletin 'Asempa Today' on Asempa FM, according to myjoyonline.com.

He also hosted weekly current affairs programme 'Kukurantumi' on Saturday morning.
KABA was formerly the host of 'Badwam', a current affairs show on Adom TV. He sat in for regular hosts on many programmes, including 'Dwaso Nsem' on Adom 106.3 FM.
