
Adam Mahama was the victim of mob justice by a group of residents in a town in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region.
A man who is believed to be involved in the lynching of Major Maxwell Mahama at Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region has been arrested and arraigned on murder charges in an Accra Central District Court.

According to reports, Mr Baiden is a bricklayer from Denkyira-Obuasi who is suspected to be among the mob that lynched the late soldier.

Walanyo Kotoku, the presiding judge, adjourned the case to September after the prosecutor, DSP George Amegah, told the court the police was still investigating and needed more time.
This brings the number to 20, the suspects standing trial for the late soldier’s murder.
