Comedienne and TV personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has gone in for Black Stars’ captain Asamoah Gyan after he played his first penalty for Ghana in five years.

Unfortunately, Asamoah Gyan missed and has since been bashed by some Ghanaians on social media.
Afia Schwarzenegger wasn’t left out of the league.
In an Instagram post on Monday (July 3), Afia lambasted Asamoah Gyan for breaking his promise and asked him to stay away from penalty kicks for the Black Stars.

She captioned a meme of Asamoah Gyan’s penalty miss: “Madam...I thought you said your mum asked you to stay away from penalties so what happened???
Were u disrespecting your mother's ghost or you lied to Ghanaians...but you koraaa why?
Stay away from our Penalties...Akua Donkor can do better…”

Asamoah Gyan announced not to take penalty kicks for the Black Stars back in November 2012 as a pledge to his late mother.
This was after he missed a crucial penalty in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final defeat to eventual winners Zambia.
His last-minute penalty miss against Uruguay denied Ghana a historic 2010 FIFA World Cup semi-final berth.
