Ghanaian boxer Joshua Clottey is set to return in 2017 after two years out.
Ghanaian middleweight Joshua Clotted is eyeing a return to the ring after a two year period of inactivity.
Speaking to Sportscrusader.com, the former welterweight title holder revealed plans to end his hiatus.
“I’m in US now waiting for a confirmation of when i will fight. I’m hoping that by the end of the year i will have two fights.”

Clottey in his prime was one of the most feared welterweights in boxing with his crab defence style a worry to many an opponent. His career is littered with fights against several marquee names including, Zab Judah,Miguel Cotto,Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito.
Now campaigning as a middleweight, Clottey’s last appearance was a unanimous decision loss to Gabriel Rosado in 2015.
