ILO to release a publication on WESO come June 14

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to publish the World Employment and Social Outlook (WESO) – Trends for Women 2017.

The new report will be released on Wednesday, 14 June. It will provide figures and analysis on women in the labour market, including the huge economic benefits that could be made by closing gender gaps.

The report and all associated material and information are under strict embargo until 20:00 GMT (22:00 CET time) on Wednesday, 14 June.

Embargoed electronic copies of the report, and associated media material will be made available to journalists upon request, starting on the morning of Wednesday, 14 June, by contacting [email protected] .

For Geneva correspondents: A press briefing by ILO Deputy Director-General for Policy, Deborah Greenfield, will be held, under embargo, on Wednesday, 14 June at 10:00 a.m. in press room 3 at the Palais des Nations.
