Three teenagers sustained various degrees of injury when they were knocked-off on an unregistered motorcycle at Nive near Ho on Tuesday.

Duvour Francis, 15, suffered a broken thigh bone, Mawuli Seke, 16, broke his kneecap and Isifu Ismailu, the motor rider suffered shin and head injuries and were rushed to the Volta Regional Hospital.
Mr Dela Yevu, the driver of the taxi with registration number GC 2644- 11 told the Ghana News Agency that the he was driving from Ho and was negotiating a curve when the motorbike from the opposite direction tried to cross him at top speed.
He said he tried avoiding a head on collision with the motorbike but it hit the front-left side of the taxi and the riders, with no helmets, thrown into a ditch.
Members of Hope for Future Generations, an NGO, arrived at the scene shortly from a malaria campaign outreach and transported the victims to the hospital.
