Frafraha Community Senior High has secured their debut at the National Science and Maths Quiz prelims after a sound victory Tuesday.
This is the first time the school, located in the Adentan Municipality has contested at the regionals.
They scored 34 points to beat Accra High School who followed closely with 27 points. Amasaman Senior High followed with 20 points.
Tema-based Presby SHS scored a paltry six points.
In another contest, Chemu SHS beat Osu-based Presec to pick up the qualification slot.
They scored 43 points, 22 more than Presec, Osu. Forces SHTS placed third with 12 points while Tema Senior High fell behind with five points.
St. John's Grammar also raised high the flag of their school with an emphatic victory over Kwabenya SHS, Teshie-based Presec and OLAM SHS.
The victors scored 44 points; making a return to the nationals after being ousted at the one-eighth stage in 2018.
Kwabenya SHS and Presec, Teshie followed with 21 and 16 points respectively.
OLAM Senior High finished the contest with no points at all.
