Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karikari, has said she voiced out her concerns regarding the ills with the pageants so it becomes an eye opener for potentials beauty queens.
According to her, she has long moved on from the scandal that rocked the organisers of the pageants last year after she and other opened up about their unpleasant treatment.
Last year, Ms Karikari was amongst some of past queens and contestants who accused Inna Mariam Patty, CEO of Exclusive Event Ghana, of unpleasant working conditions and relationships.

Ms Stephanie alleged that the organizers at a point refused to put her on a billboard because her appearance did not please their senses.
According to her, the organiser declined to project her with the explanation that “sponsors had told her that I was not beautiful enough to be on the billboard.”
Reacting to the issue, the organisers refuted the allegations by former winners of the national contest that various acts of abuse and humiliation characterised the event.

In March this year, Inna Patty told Joy News she will keep her silence until she is ready to go public about the Miss Ghana allegations.
“There’s nothing to know [for now]...like Madam Churchill said Silence is golden sometimes. You know I like keeping people in suspense like when I am launching and everything I do so at the right time,” she said.
