A businessman and CEO of Community Group of Hospitals Mr. Kwasi Acquah has stated that only people who have an intention of wrecking the nation are those who will be against the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
According to the former him, corruption has become a canker which stifling the economic growth of the country and hence all must embrace efforts root it out of the society.
The former Public Relations Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority in an interaction with the media said, when corruption is reduced drastically, a lot can be saved for improvement on infrastructure, health care and education.
He stated that unbridled corruption only makes a few corrupt people "rich" at the expense of the impoverished masses.
The institution of the Office of Special Prosecutor (OSP) was a campaign promise by the Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the lead up to the 2016 elections.
The President last week assented to the (OSP) to make it became law.
Meanwhile, the debate over who will occupy the office is rages with several names going round.
Kwasi Acquah who also operates other private businesses said, “when corruption is down and the economy is good, businesses boom and this reflect on the creation of employment and payment of taxes for which reason we must all support this bold step by the government.”
