The eight teams for this year's G8 competition will each pocket an amount of GH¢20,000 as the participation fee.
Asante Kotoko, Dreams FC, Aduana Stars and Techiman Eleven Wonders have been drawn in Group A while Hearts of Oak, Karela United, Ebusua Dwarfs and Medeama SC will do battle with each other in Group B.
The Vice Chairman of the Premier League Board (PLB) George Amoako revealed the money for the teams in an interview on Asempa FM.
”Each club will receive GH¢20,000 for participating in the G-8 while the winner gets GH¢10,000.”
The competition kick-start on 6th-21st January 2018.
Group A teams will be based in Kumasi with Group B teams residing in Cape Coast.
