THE sensational Die Hard Supporters Union, celebrated their 10th anniversary with a football match against Ayigbe Town Saturday Stars.
Die Hard Supporters Union lost 2-1 to Ayigbe Town Saturday Stars at the Naa Korle Park, Ayigbe Town.
Ayigbe Town featured players like Amui Quaye formerly of Accra Great Olympics, Abetia Ayeh, former star of Obuasi AshGold and Charles Allotey of Accra Hearts of Oak fame.
Die Hard was led by their President, Abraham Nkansah also known as “Apirigu Chakapama”, who had a good game controlling the midfield.
The Stars had to depend on their experience to score two beautiful goals after conceding the opening goal.
Among the dignitaries who watched the game were former national star Ali Jarra, patrons and executives as well as fans and members of the union.
According to Mr Nkansah, 2019 promises to be a good year and hopes Ghana Sports would be better as the Black Stars were on another mission to grab the African Nations Cup, after over 30 years, since it slipped through. – GNA
