Ghana Boxing Authority’s (GBA) first vice president, Mr Henry Bisoudu Manly-Spain is billed to travel to the United States of America (USA) to help in the final preparation of Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe who mounts the ring on Saturday for a world championship.
Dogboe will be involved in his biggest career fight on Saturday against World Boxing Organisation (WBO) super bantamweight champion, Jesse Magdaleno.
Mr Peter Zwennes, president of the GBA described the fight as a very important event in Ghana’s boxing history and was important every support was offered to conquer the Mexican-American.
The GBA, has, consequently requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration to facilitate the travel and acquisition of relevant document to make the trip.
The fight is scheduled for the Liacouras Centre Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Consequently, the GBA boss has also asked for support from every Ghanaian as Dogboe attempts to quench the nation’s thirst for glory in boxing.
