The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bamed Travel and Tours, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, has denied claims levelled against him by National Security that he was linked to some individuals recently busted for allegedly printing fake currency.
According to the businessman who is popularly known as Alhaji Bahmed, the allegation was nothing but a dent on his hard earned reputation, as he was a law abiding citizen and respecter of the rule of law.
In a press release dated May 4, 2021, Alhaji Bahmed also denied the accusation that he verbally abused the National Security operatives while they were performing their lawful duty. “I have also not verbally assaulted anyone, let alone the leader of the National Security Operations as claimed.”
He then threw a challenge that if the claim of him assaulting any officer was true, or anything to go by, National Security should be candid enough to publish the footages from their CCTV camera on the premises.
According to Alhaji Bahmed, his mission at the National Security Headquarters was to assist a friend, one Alhaji Mohammed, who had been arrested in connection with the fake currency saga.
Alhaji Bahmed added that he visited the National Security Headquarters in the company of the said friend’s lawyer, but they were prevented from seeing the officer in charge.
He has given a strong indication that he would not allow sleeping dogs to lie, and that he was lacing his boot to sue National Security, as well as release some damning videos of what truly transpired in connection with the fake currency allegation.
He urged the public to disregard the accusation and also disassociated himself from the fake currency saga, saying, “I am categorically stating that I have no knowledge of the alleged claim.”
