Thomas Partey insists it is ‘amazing’ to have ‘intelligent’ Odegaard at Arsenal 

Thomas Partey is relishing the chance to play alongside Martin Odegaard at Arsenal following his loan arrival from Real Madrid until the end of the season. 

Odegaard sealed a January loan switch to north London in search of more game time, and Arsenal fans have only seen glimpses of his talent in the Premier League so far. 

And with the Gunners faithful eager to see more of their loan star in action, former Atletico Madrid midfielder Partey has admitted it is ‘amazing’ to have Odegaard at the club – having reflected on his ‘difficult’ experiences coming up against him in La Liga while he was on loan at Real Sociedad. 

Partey told Stadium Astro: ‘It’s difficult when you play against him. 

‘I remember playing against him, he’s so intelligent, he is always quick on the ball, he doesn’t give you a chance to win the ball.’It’s amazing to have him here. I hope he has a great season and he’s able to help us achieve what we want to achieve.’ Credit: dailymail.co.uk
