Medeama midfielder Justice Blay believes they will beat Hearts of Oak at the Akon Park on match week 12 of the Ghana Premier League today.
Blay says the crunch game will be more of a midfield action as the Mauve and Yellows goes head to head with the Phobians.
Medeama would want a win to lift themselves into the top half of the table. Hearts of Oak also would not want to miss out on their chances of getting back into the top four and avoid back to back defeat.
The former Kotoko loanee, speaking with Fox FM in Kumasi, admitted that Hearts are a good side but Medeama has the quality in the middle to beat the Phobians.
“Hearts of Oak are a very good team. The players have played together for some time now and there have been new inclusions and they are doing well. They are on form and they are a good side.
“We will beat Hearts of Oak. The game is going to be a midfield battle and we have solid and good midfielders to beat them.
“For me, I take Hearts matches very seriously because if I take it seriously that is where can get the determination to win.”
However, the defensive midfielder agreed that the Tarkwa based side are yet to hit their best of shape in the ongoing season.
