Pep Guardiola has been trusted with a transfer budget of £300million to help improve Manchester City‘s squad as he targets Premier League success next season.
City announced the signing of Ferran Torres from Valencia on Tuesday and have also agreed a deal for Bournemouth‘s Nathan Ake.
But Guardiola has also added Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Atletico Madrid‘s Joao Felix to his summer wishlist.
According to The Athletic, Guardiola is also interested in bringing in a £100m striker, who the club are said to have tracked for the last year and a half.
Torres joined City for £37m with Sportsmail of the understanding that nearly £21m has been paid upfront.
The winger, who has signed on a five-year contract, is part of Guardiola’s attacking rebuild following the departure of Leroy Sane.
Ake, who is understood to have agreed personal terms with City after Bournemouth accepted an offer of £41m, fits the bill for the type of defender Guardiola wants.
But signing Koulibaly, worth £60m, would finally see City fill the void left by Vincent Kompany following his departure last year.
Felix, who would cost around £80m, would arguably be the signing of the summer should Manchester United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho not come to fruition.
