Ghana’s representative in this year’s CAF champion’s league, WA All Stars experienced a terrible start in the campaign at the Tamale Sport Stadium yesterday, as they were beaten by 3-1 by their guests.
Al Ahli Tripoli, the Libyan giants started the game so well and managed to fetch the much needed opening goal in the first half.
Hopes were high for the home side, but little did they know that their opponents were actually in for a real fight.
They proved to be tough customers for their hosts, as the game progressed.
The Libyans won the crucial game by 3-1, which means that the Ghana champions will have to win the return league by not less than 3 unanswered goals.
