According to the NIB, it has received complaints from parents regarding the implementation of alternative methods of teaching and learning mainly online by private schools during the COVID-19 period.
A statement signed the Executive Secretary of NIB, Dr. Haggar Hilda Ampadu said “Private schools are to note that establishing and having an active PTA is a requirement for certification as a school by the NIB and thus it is important to engage PTAs to secure their support in delivering quality education to learners. Schools without PTAs will not receive a certificate of registration by NIB or their existing certifications will not be renewed.” Read Full Story
