Tema Youth president pays glowing tribute to the late Alhaji Sly Tetteh

Disqualified Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential candidate, Wilfred Kwaku Osei, has paid glowing tribute to the late Alhaji Sly Tetteh.

According to Tema Youth president, the late Sly Tetteh, a former president of Liberty Professionals, deserved all the credit for being the source of the business module he was working with now.

“I have learnt a lot from a whole lot of people. The late Sly Tetteh deserves all the credit because the business module I’m working with now was given to me by him.

“People did not know how close we were and I quite remember when I qualified to the Premier League for the second time, I marched straight from Cape Coast to the Liberty Professionals grounds to pay homage to him,” a grateful Palmer disclosed this to the Daily Graphic.

“He (Sly) has had a lot of influence in the way I conduct myself in football. This man will call me and say I’m told you don’t have money, so take this and use it to continue playing the league,” Palmer added. Read Full Story
