Italy has been the European country worst hit by the coronavirus so far, with over 7,000 confirmed cases and 300 deaths so far.
This has led to sporting activity at all levels in Italy to be suspended until April 3 at the earliest.
This includes all matches in Serie A, Italy's highest football division, but does not cover Italian clubs or national teams competing in international competitions such as the Champions League.
According to report from the camp of Gaziantep, morale of Ghanaian midfielder Yusif Chibsah has been down for the past days after learning that Emilia-Romagna where his family are residing are one of 33 cities that have been hit hardest by the coronavirus.
The report indicates that the combative midfielder has been in regular contact with his family via the internet but he looks depressed.
Chibsah left Italian side Frosinone Calcio to join Turkish outfit Gazi?ehir Gaziantep in the summer.
He featured for Parma, Sassuolo, Benevento Calcio and Frosinone during his 11-year stay in Italy. Read Full Story
