According to him, he regrets the public comment he made about the District Chief Executive for Ekumfi Hon. Bernard Bright Grant hence should be restored to his position to enable him to continue working efficiently for the party.
Mustapha Ahmed Anderson had stated that the DCE for Ekumfi was not performing and has resulted in Ekumfi being retarded in terms of development.
He also alleged that Hon. Bernard Bright Grant had made lots of money since he assumed office hence must be probed.
But addressing the press on Friday 3rd January, 2020, Mustapha Ahmed Anderson apologized for his comments and pleaded for reinstatement to enable him to work hard to secure the Ekumfi seat in the upcoming 2020 general election.
He claimed he has been neglected ever since he made the comments about the DCE.
“The comments that came after my earlier press conference was bad so I am pleading with the National, Regional and Constituency executives of the NPP to forgive me. I am pleading with His. Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo, the Vice President, Central Regional Chairman Mr. Robert Kutin Junior, Region Communication Officer, Youths Organizer and all the executives for forgiveness. I want to go back to my work and discharge my duties effectively for the party as 2020 elections approach.”
Furthermore, in an interview with Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan after the press conference, the Central Regional Communications Officer Mr. Robert Aminsa again condemned the unsavory comments earlier made by the Youth organizer and advised him not to repeat such acts again.
“We were all sad when we heard such comments from him, but it is good that he has repented. As a party member, it is not advisable to wash our dirty clothes in the public domain.
