According to the popular actor, the industry would have to adjust to the technological changes to make it rise to its feet again.
”I don’t think Kumawood is dead as being purported by many. We going through serious challenges but due to time I would lead the battle to make Kumahood vibrant again”
”There is no doubt about the technological changes in the movie industry around the world and we have to undergo that transition to make Kumawood competitive again,” he said.
Kumawood is a privately-owned movie and awards industry that is based in Kumasi. It was incorporated as a limited liability company in 2006. Soon after, a prominent film industry emerged, eventually becoming the most recognised film industry in the Ghana.
The industry, however, has seen a decline in what used to be a vibrant one forcing many key actors and actresses into TV and Radio presenting among others.
