Speaking to Becky on the E WITH BECKS show on Joy Prime, the singer bemoaned a lack of appreciation locally, even though she is recognised internationally.
She revealed that the likes of Angélique Kidjo and others have approached her many times concerning her unique style on stage. She said more needs to be done to celebrate legends in the entertainment industry.
“There should be special awards given to the veterans,” she said.
Her first album was, ‘Frema’ which had inspirational songs like ‘Me Ye Obaa’, which became an instant hit, ‘Born again’, ‘Anan Tuo’, ‘San be Hwe Wo Mba’ among others.
