He said he resigned rather than got booted out.
In an interview with Accra Sports on Accra100.5FM on Monday, 12 November, Mr Armstrong-Mortagbe said: “I was never sacked from Hearts. I resigned from Hearts of Oak; the records are there to show”.
“I wasn't forced by the Board and the supporters to step down.”
He apologised to the fans and supporters of the club for stepping down and added that he was ready to serve in any other capacity with the club at the moment.
“Hearts supporters should forgive me about my action. I am very ready to serve Hearts in any capacity any time the Board calls upon me to help,” he said. Read Full Story
