Dr Amoah revealed this during his committee’s maiden press conference at the Alisa Hotel in Accra today.
According to him, the NC forwarded its first monthly report to FIFA last Sunday, October 14, while FIFA acknowledged receipt with high marks today.
“We sent our first monthly report on October 14, and just this morning I got an email from FIFA thanking us for a good job done,” he disclosed.
At the inauguration of the four-man committee in Accra on September 13, 2018, the special FIFA delegation led by FIFA’s new director of development for Africa and the Caribbean, Veron Mosengo-Omba mandated it to, among others, furnish FIFA with monthly reports of its activities.
Last Sunday was exactly a month since the NC was sworn into office with a mandate to run the day-to-day affairs of the GFA, revise the FA statutes, do a forensic audit of the association’s accounts, as well as draw a roadmap towards fresh elections before the end of March next year. Read Full Story
